Required Class Software

The software you need for this class is as follows (may be updated throughout semester):

  • Latest version of Max / MSP / Jitter from Cycling74. At least version 5.1.7.
  • The following extensions for Max:
    • cv.jit : Computer vision extension
    • jit.freenect : Kinect drivers for Max
    • jasch objects : various useful utilities including string operators for work with text

    If we have Max 5.1.4 from the CRIT desk, how do we upgrade to the 5.1.7 version? Thoughts would be appreciated. Sorry if I missed this in the last class!

      That is not good, since you won’t have the Vizzie modules. We just updated the ATS computers to 5.1.7 so CRIT must have it. I’ll check in with them tomorrow and let you all know, thanks for bringing this up.
