Camo

Research project, 2007

"Camo" is a project exploring themes of military, social and media induced camouflage, the reduction of meaning and form to an abstracted pattern, keeping only the contours of the form while physically mashing various materials and meanings together. This is a theme I worked with through several different media, each time attempting to push the standard abstraction/aesthetization process involved in making camouflage patters to a different extreme
